1. What browser storage is

Cookies are small values stored by a website in your browser. Similar browser technologies, such as local storage, can remember preferences without sending them automatically with every request.

2. Storage currently used by WOS Helper

NameTypePurposeDuration
svs_sessionStrictly necessary cookieAuthenticates the signed-in user and protects access to restricted features.Up to 7 days; expires after approximately 12 hours of inactivity.
svs-themeLocal storageRemembers whether light or dark mode was selected.Until removed from browser storage.

3. Consent

The authentication cookie is strictly necessary to provide the sign-in service requested by the user. The theme preference does not track activity or identify users across websites. WOS Helper does not currently use optional advertising or analytics cookies.

If optional analytics, advertising, social-media or other non-essential technologies are introduced, they must remain disabled until the appropriate consent has been obtained, and this policy must be updated.

4. Managing storage

You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing the session cookie signs you out. Removing the theme preference restores the default theme selection. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent authenticated features from working.

5. Infrastructure cookies

The production hosting or security provider may set essential cookies for load balancing, abuse prevention or network security. Complete before launch: [LIST HOSTING OR SECURITY COOKIES, PROVIDER, PURPOSE AND DURATION].

6. Contact and updates

Questions about browser storage can be sent to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. Material changes will be communicated through [NOTICE METHOD].
